The home for couples
and money.

Money is one of the leading causes of conflict in relationships. We're building a space where young couples can learn, plan, and get on the same page financially.

Why it matters

Money problems don't start with money.

Most couples enter relationships without ever talking about how they'll manage money together. No system, no shared language, no plan. That silence is where conflict grows.

What we do

Everything young couples need
to get money right.

Couples Finances is not about a single product. It's a space for learning, connecting, and building financial habits that last.

Education

Practical content to help couples understand basics of planning finances together. Budgeting, clearing debts, tracking goals, investing.

Community

Conversations with real couples about how they manage money together. Honest, relatable, and built on shared experience.

Tools

We built heyFinance, an app designed based on how we actually manage our finances, with a Mine, Yours, and Ours ownership model.

Coaching

Coming soon. Guided sessions with financial coaches who understand the unique dynamics of managing money as a couple.

The tool

We built the app we wished existed.

When my wife and I started managing money together, nothing quite fit. Budgeting apps were built for individuals. Spreadsheets became complicated quickly. So we built heyFinance for ourselves, to help us plan our finances together, while maintaining our uniqueness.

Because being a couple doesn't mean losing yourself. You are one, but still two distinct individuals. heyFinance is built around that truth.

Mine

Your personal finances and goals. Plan for the things you enjoy and become good with money.

Yours

Your partner's personal finances and goals. Separate, respected, but always in view. The goal is shared financial visibility.

Ours

Your shared finances as a couple. Joint goals, shared budgets, and a single view of your life together.

Our story

We're not finance experts.
We're a couple who figured it out.

I'm Ayomide, a software engineer based in Berlin. My wife Tobiloba and I started managing our finances together and quickly realised there were not a lot of good systems for it. Even more importantly, not a lot of conversations happening regarding this.

So we built one. heyFinance started as our own system. The Mine, Yours, Ours model is literally how we manage our money today. We then opened it up to other couples because we knew we weren't the only ones figuring this out the hard way.

Couples Finances is the bigger vision. It's a space for education, honest conversations, and community around one of the most important things couples never talk about.
